Hi, and welcome to the Avik User Guide.

Through Dashboard

• Unzip the Avik-Pro file to your desktop
• Open Folder Avik-Pro

Open Folder Theme Files

• Log in to the WordPress Dashboard
• Go to Appearance -> Themes
• Click on Add New Theme
• Click on Upload Theme button
• Click on Choose File button and select avik.zip then click on Install Now button and wait for the install to complete.
• After the theme installed successfully, click on Activate button

Manual Installation using FTP

• Unzip avik.zip to your Desktop.
• Use an FTP client to access your host web server
• Go to /wp-content/themes/
• Upload theme to /wp-content/themes/
• Go to Appearance -> Themes and activate theme from Dashboard

2 Update the Free version with the Pro version
1st method

• Deactivated the Avik free theme
• Delete the theme
• Proceed with the installation indicated in point 1

2nd method

• Download the “update-theme-and-plugins-from-zip-file” plugin from the official WordPress repository
• Go to WordPress Dashboard
• Select Plugin
• Install now
• Select the zip file you downloaded
• Active Plugin
• Proceed with the installation indicated in point 1

3 Home Page Setup

• Go to the Dashboard
• Add new page
• Add title example “Home”
• Select Home Avik template
• Public
• Go to WordPress Dashboard -> Appearance -> Customize -> Homepage Settings
• Click on “A static page” and select “Home” from the dropdowns.

Choose the sections you want to enable in the customize:

• Who ww are
• Services
• Portoflio
• Blog
• Contact

• Kindly go to Appearance -> Menu -> Before moving on you have to create top menu first and set theme location to primary menu please see the below screenshot
